1. Make sure your paint is fully dry
Before applying your Soft Stencil, ensure that your base coats, mid-coats, or clears are completely dry and cured.
If the paint is still soft or tacky, any stencil can pull it up—so give your bait the proper time.
2. Remove the stencil from the carrier board
Gently peel the stencil off the carrier mat or backing sheet.
Take your time and avoid stretching the material—slow and steady keeps everything crisp.
3. Apply the stencil to your bait
Place the stencil where you want it and press it down evenly across the surface.
You don’t need heavy pressure—just enough to make sure it’s fully mounted and sealed.
The soft vinyl will naturally wrap around curves and contours.
4. Spray your paint
With the stencil in place, spray your paint as usual.
The Soft Stencil System stays put, giving you crisp, clean edges without slipping or lifting.
5. Slowly peel off the stencil
After spraying, peel the stencil off slowly and carefully.
Enjoy that perfect linework—it’s the best part.
6. Reapply to the carrier mat
Place the stencil back onto the original backing board or mat to keep the adhesive clean and protected.
Proper storage = a long stencil life.
7. Clean if needed
If overspray builds up, wipe the stencil gently with a soft cloth and water.
No harsh chemicals are needed—just keep it clean, dry, and dust-free.
